Envelope Sustainable Design Process Workshop with Anthea van Kopplen
Saturdays 15 and 29 March, 1 - 4pm
Work with exhibitor Anthea on creating your own Envelope piece using the interactive pattern featured in How You Make It.
See more about the Envelope process at www.envelope.net.au.
The Envelope interactive pattern is available to download here.
Use the instructions to make your own garment with whatever material you have available. The open source nature of this project is at the core of Anthea's research into sustainable clothing. Craft Victoria encourages everyone to download the pattern and instructions, make the work, pass on the templates, link this site and/or post images of the resulting pieces.
Read about Anthea's pattern process on the Craft Victoria blog.
A flickr group has been set up by Craft Victoria in response to How You Make It. You can upload images of your own Envelope piece by joining the Envelope Sustainable Design Process group and adding your picture to the image pool. Upload images to the Envelope Sustainable Design Process flickr pool here.
For instructions on how to upload to a flickr pool, click here.
